About us

There's a lot more to Vegas than the Strip. Within an hour of the city you've got red sandstone canyons, alpine forest, desert hot springs, and some of the best hiking in the Southwest. This group exists to get you out there with good people.

We're a social hiking group for ages 18–45. Whether you just moved here, work from home and need to get out of the house, or have lived here for years and never made it to Red Rock, you're welcome. Come solo, since most people do.

What to expect

Weekly hikes, mostly weekend mornings, plus the occasional sunset or weeknight hike
A mix of easy, moderate, and challenging trails, with difficulty, distance, and elevation gain listed on every event
Regular spots like Red Rock Canyon, Calico Basin, Mount Charleston, Valley of Fire, Sloan Canyon, and Lake Mead
Optional food or drinks afterward, because the hang is half the point

New to hiking?
All hikes are beginner friendly unless noted otherwise.
We keep a no-one-left-behind pace on those, and someone always stays at the back of the group.

What to bring

More water than you think you need (at least 2–3 liters, more in summer)
Real shoes with grip, not flat-soled sneakers
Sun protection and a snack
A charged phone

House rules

Only RSVP if you're coming, and update it if plans change
Show up on time, because we leave the trailhead 10 minutes after the posted start
Leave no trace: pack out everything you bring
Be friendly and introduce yourself to someone new on every hike
This is a hiking group, not a dating app or a sales pitch

Hit join, RSVP to the next hike, and say hi at the trailhead.
