What is volume eating?! I wondered the same as this is a new concept to me. Thankfully we have the good ol' search feature on the web, so here's what it resulted:
Volume eating is a dietary strategy focused on consuming high-volume, low-calorie foods to increase satiety while maintaining a calorie deficit. By prioritizing foods with high water, fiber, or air content, such as fruits, vegetables, and broth-based soups, individuals can eat larger portion sizes without significantly increasing calorie intake.
Key aspects of this approach include:
Calorie Density : It emphasizes low-energy-density foods (like leafy greens and berries) over high-energy-density foods (like nuts, oils, and processed snacks).
Satiety : The physical bulk of high-volume foods helps fill the stomach, reducing hunger signals and the urge to snack on calorie-dense options.
Nutrient Intake : This method naturally increases consumption of essential vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants found in plant-based foods.
Flexibility : It is considered a sustainable eating style rather than a restrictive diet, allowing for the inclusion of moderate amounts of lean proteins and whole grains.
Chandler has graciously offered to host us again at his home near Town Center and 215 in Summerlin.

We ask all those joining to bring one or two thought out calorie dense dish(es) to share. No cookies, no chips, no desserts that do not qualify.
Please RSVP with integrity for the potluck. Only sign up if you know you have the time beforehand to make the effort in preparing/purchasing a dish.
Not sure what to bring? Pinterest, youtube, reddit, etc has a wealth of ideas and amazing recipes. I'll share some links below that I've found. We also ask you to bring a camp chair in the event we run out of seats. Thank you!
Please post what you'll be bringing below and remember to check the comments here before heading out for any updates. Thank you.
Afterwards, if anything awesome is happening, we may head out as a group to continue the party.
