About us
Please have a look if you are interested in Lean-Agile-Scrum in one way or another. Choose the webinars that interest you.
We offer free webinars on a variety of Lean-Agile-Scrum topics.
Topics will evolve depending on your interests. We want typically 16 people in each webinar to enable good interaction. We will use Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
Anyone with some interest in these topics is welcome.
Discussion is key, and optional. We strongly recommend the networking that will occur.
We also offer Scrum Alliance-related training (CSM, CSPO, Advanced-CSM, etc.) and related workshops, such as Agile Release Planning. These are NOT part of this Meetup. If you're interested in that, visit LeanAgileTraining.com.

Webinar (free): How to Fix This Team - Diagnosis
·OnlineOnlineThis webinar is part of a series of webinars to discuss things about Scrum that are commonly misunderstood.
A common need is: We have a team. It is not working as well as we wanted.
How do we fix it?
For a car, what they almost always say is: Let’s run some diagnostic tests. So, for you, me, and anyone who wants to start to think of themselves as a SM, agile advocate, coach, or manager: Let’s share ideas on how to diagnose a team. We have an hour, so let’s get into it as much as we can.
Here’s what I expect we can discuss and do:
- Introduce the topic.
- I will give some ideas. This will get us started, and give everyone something to think about and react to.
- You all add some ideas.
- Then we discuss. And add to it.
I hope everyone comes to have a good discussion, and represent their issues, hopes, and concerns. Make sure to bring your questions and talk about your real-life situations!

Webinar (free): Working in "contract" mode
·OnlineOnlineThe way we look at it, we are always using some Waterfall ideas to get our work done. At least some.
Let's deal with one situation: when we are working in contract mode. Meaning: we have a contract (scope-date-budget) or there is an implied contract.
Please join us! Let's discuss.
Here are a few subtopics we hope to discuss.
- It may be more waterfallish than we want.
- Maybe more up-front work than agile usually does.
- A lot is attitude: ours and theirs.
- A contract means: "I don't trust you."
- Build trust
- Plan initially
- But get them to understand that change happens, and you must re-plan.
- They (Cust + Bus side) get to engage on the trade-offs
- By getting better (and for other reasons), the trade-offs may lead to MORE success
- 80-20
- Use BVPs. Learn!
- Pull in the Business Side & Customers
We think these ideas can help.
We will have an hour. Let’s help each other as much as we can in the time box.
