About us

Look at the ground — the flooring, the grout, the concrete, the pavement, the grass, the mulch. Someone made it, transported it, sold it, installed it, and maintains it. In fact, almost everything we use, buy, repair, eat, rent, or rely on is part of someone’s livelihood. Millions of ordinary people run businesses, sell services, make products, manage operations, consult, distribute things, and earn a living in countless ways.

Late-Stage Professional Paralysis is for experienced professionals who are capable, motivated, and still want to work—but feel stuck about what comes next.
Many of us have spent decades building careers, judgment, skills, credentials, contacts, and some measure of financial security. We know we’re capable of doing useful, productive work. We may even have some capital to invest. Yet when the traditional career path stalls or stops working, it can be surprisingly difficult to figure out how to create income independently.

The question behind this group is simple: Why can’t I make a go of it?

Why can someone with decades of experience still feel completely paralyzed when it comes to turning their abilities into a reasonable income without having to depend entirely on an employer?

This group is for people who genuinely recognize themselves in that question.

At least initially, the goal is simple: get a small group of thoughtful, experienced people together for candid conversation about where we are, how we got stuck, what may be holding us back, and what possibilities we may not be seeing on our own.

This is not a job-search group, a startup pitch group, or a place to sell coaching or services.
No gurus. No pitches. No MLMs. No pressure to have “the answer.”

Just experienced people trying to understand the problem, get unstuck, and perhaps help one another figure out what comes next.
