CLASS DESCRIPTION:
Welcome to our beginner-friendly Merengue dance class, where the lively rhythms of the Dominican Republic will ignite your passion for dance!
Merengue’s simplicity and versatility make it an ideal starting point for beginners. You’ll be amazed at how quickly you can immerse yourself in the upbeat and syncopated rhythms of this dance form. As the music envelops you, you’ll feel the joy of Merengue pulsating through your body.
In our Merengue class, you’ll embark on an exciting journey to master the fundamental steps and movements of this energetic dance style. Our skilled instructors will break down the basics, making it easy for you to follow along and feel comfortable on the dance floor. You’ll learn the signature hip movements, footwork patterns, and partner connections that define the Merengue, all while building confidence and having fun!

If you notice you may have any of the COVID-19 symptoms please stay home for everyone’s safety.
• You can come by yourself or with a partner.
• No special clothes are required, what feels comfortable for you is good.
• Please do come with a pair of smooth sole shoes, either leather or suede will work on the dance floor. Dance shoes available for sale at our dance boutique.
