Let's connect with other singles in Chicago to enjoy all things Latinx: music, theater, film, food, dancing, comedy, volunteering in the community, people.
If you are single and want to meet new people who share similar interests centered on enjoying, supporting and elevating the Latinx community of Chicago, this group is for you. No need to be Latinx, all are welcome as long as you're single.
Group name is meant to be inclusive of any way one may identify when it comes to those of Latin American and Spanish descent. Linguistics is such a beautiful thing and always evolving; thus, so many terms to identify with.

Please keep in mind the goal is to bring together singles who genuinely enjoy these events. As meetup puts it clearly in their guidelines: this group is not for pick-up or seduction techniques, or wingman tactics.
Please be mindful of your RSVP and update accordingly if your plans change. If you RSVP and don't show up, you'll be flagged as "no show" and eventually be removed from the group if it becomes a trend.

Let's dance the night away, celebrate our culture, observe aquatic life and enjoy the amazing Chicago skyline at Shedd Aquarium's Ritmo del Mar. We will dance to the sounds of salsa, cumbia, merengue and Latin jazz.
Admission includes all aquarium exhibits and entertainment. Tickets can be purchased via this link. Food and beverages are available for purchase.
If driving, SpotHero would be best. 146 bus leaves you in the Museum Campus.

Let's decompress on a summer afternoon at Navy Pier's Skyline Session in front of the Ferrara Candy Wave Wall Stage. One of their many free events this summer.
The live performers featured will be as follows:
- 5:00pm-6:00pm Chicha Roots In collaboration with Pachanka Music Culture
- 6:30pm-7:30pm Exodo Kumbiero
- 8:00pm-9:00pm Fuego de Cumbia
We will hang out by the stairs on the right, facing the stage. Check comments so we can find each other.

Let's have some casual convo over coffee/tea or some of their delicious menu items at La Malinche Coffee & Tea House in Pilsen while making new friends. We'll also be supporting a minority-owned business.
The coffee shop will likely not have enough space for all of us inside so the backup plan is to order to go and walk to a park nearby.
The coffee shop is located near Halsted and Cermak. Plenty of street parking. Closest train line is Cermak/22nd Red line.
