Sustainable Practices at Home

The Mississippi Polymer Institute invites the public to take part in a Practical Sustainability short course on Tuesday, August 19th from 10:30AM - 2:30PM. Lunch will be provided.

“Learn how to save Money and the Environment by using Sustainability practices at Home.”

Sustainability and environmental stewardship impact everyone. Sherry Bell of MSU’s Extension Service will share tips on how you can implement environmentally friendly practices into your daily routine.

Saving money while living more sustainably.
How to reduce, reuse and recycle in the home.
Recycling in Mississippi.
Improving energy efficiency in the home.
Past, present and future of waste management.
Impacts of litter on ocean pollution.
