Welcome to Gwinnett Girlz! 👋🏽

We started as a group for forty-something lesbian women in Gwinnett who wanted to meet new people, make some friends, and occasionally leave the damn house. 😁 Since then, we’ve grown to include women from Atlanta, Fulton, Cobb, and surrounding areas. So don’t let the name fool you—if you’re reasonably close and willing to make the drive, come on!

The vibe is simple: grown women, good energy, new experiences.

We’re here to make genuine friendships, laugh, eat good food, try new places, get dressed up sometimes, and have people to actually DO things with. We may not be clubbing until 3 a.m. anymore—and if you are, God bless you and please stretch first 😂—but we’re not ready to sit in the house every weekend either.

Expect brunches, dinners, live music, food halls, festivals, day trips, and whatever other adventures sound fun.

A few things:
• If you come alone, you won’t be the only one.
• We welcome women from different backgrounds, personalities, and walks of life.
• Friendship and community come first. If you happen to meet somebody cute…well, we are lesbians. I’m not responsible for what happens after that. 😂
• You don’t have to attend everything. Life be life-ing. Come when you can.

Most importantly, PARTICIPATE! A Meetup group isn’t much of a community if 500 women join and the same 11 of us keep looking at each other across a table. 😂

Come hang out. Suggest an event. Make some memories—and maybe a few actual friends while we’re at it. ❤️
