Double Date LB: Couples, Culture & Connections
Let’s hang out... as a pair! This group is for couples in and around Long Beach who are looking to expand their social circle and build genuine, platonic friendships with other couples.
Whether you’re newlyweds, long-term partners, or somewhere in between, life is better when you have a "squad" to share it with.
THE VIBE: To be 100% clear: This is NOT a "lifestyle" or swingers group. We are here for hiking, hydro-biking, cooking classes, and great dinners. If you're looking for anything other than friendship, this isn't the group for you!
WHO: This group is geared toward couples of all ages. We love the energy of younger couples and the wisdom of those who’ve been around the block. Our goal is a healthy mix so we don't skew too far in one direction!
- Child-Free Zone: While we love kiddos, our events are strictly Adults Only. This is your time to reconnect with your partner and other adults without the diaper bags or playgrounds.
- Couples Only: Please attend with your partner!
WHAT: We do it all! Expect a mix of high-energy activities and chill social hangs:
- Hydro-biking the canals
- Cooking classes & Foodie tours
- Movies followed by drinks/mocktails
- Sunday Brunch & Trivia nights
- Beach days and local LB gems
WHERE: Most events are in Long Beach, but we will occasionally venture into Orange County or other parts of LA County for something novel!
WHEN: We aim for events every month or so.
THE FINE PRINT:
GUESTS: Since this is a couples group, please ensure your partner is included in your RSVP.
NO-SHOWS: Those who no-show 3 or more times will be removed from the group. If you can’t make it, please change your RSVP or text me!
IF YOU CAN'T FIND US: Call me (don't text) at 562-505-7754 right before or during the event. I don't check the Meetup app once the fun starts!
