More Than Fun and Games
Toa Payoh Public Library, 6 Toa Payoh Central, 319191 Singapore, SGWhen was the last time you did something just for fun, and didn’t feel guilty about it? 🎲
We tend to treat hobbies, sports and games as the stuff we do after the “real” work is done. But the way you play says a lot about you. It shows how you think under pressure, how you compete, how you connect with people, and how you recharge.
That’s our theme at this month’s LCS Toastmasters meeting: More Than Fun and Games.
We’ll talk about why play isn’t a break from living well. It’s part of it. And since this is Toastmasters, expect real stories, a few laughs, and people practising how to say what they mean with confidence.
📅 Wednesday, 21 October 2026
🕡 6:45 PM – 8:30 PM
📍 Toa Payoh Library, Programme Zone (Level 3)
A few things to know:
→ Registration is required (one ticket per person, 26 seats only)
→ Please arrive 10 minutes early, because seats can go to walk-ins if you’re late
→ Attendance is taken via the NLB Mobile app, so scan the QR code at the venue
You don’t need to be a “speaker” to come. Plenty of us started out just wanting to feel less awkward when we open our mouths. Come to listen, come to try, or just come to see what it’s about.
