Culture as an Important Element of Working with People

Details

Yippee, 2nd Leaders 21 meetup is here, finally! This time you can meet Michal Vallo, who is one of the top agile/culture experts in the country! Michal will let us wonder what company culture actually is and why is it important ... What do you think btw.?

As Michal says: "It came suddenly. Shortly after my talk with a stranger at one coffee shop in Prague. For years I was inspired by organizations that are managed non-traditional way. Organizations that enables creative potential of the people to be materialized, and that carefully guards their culture, because people are intrinsically motivated.

I am inviting you to my talk sharing my experiences of an exciting journey from a small garage to the European Space Agency and back toward modern enterprise. Experience of failures and small victories, from moving through serious cultural change, while being appointed as a new CEO, that led to radical reshaping of the organization. Experience of running experiments, rebuilding whole organization around agile culture, with many crises on the path that paid off eventually ...

What was I doing and why?
What is company culture and why is it important?
Can culture be managed?
Is the good culture automatic recipe for success?
How to understand culture, design culture and use culture to create workplace where people feel driven, energized and motivated?"

Michal & Tomas are looking forward to meet you! Culture rocks!
