Micromanagement, is it Good or Bad? Well, it's both, depending on how you use it. Unfortunately, a large percentage of the time it is used incorrectly and is abused by incompetent people who are never held accountable.
Gene Roddenberry, the creator of the globally popular, Star Trek franchise, knew this as well. Gene was a US Army Air Corps pilot and veteran of World War 2. Gene put a lot of what he learned and lived in the Military into his Star Trek Franchise.
