Join SVPG partner Christian Idiodi as he shares his advice on how to set up your product teams to be more successful. Product people don’t start at a new company with everything they need to succeed, no matter how successful they’ve been in the past.

When he was a product leader, Christian saw a series of failed product people within the organization and realized that these hires had been completely capable for the job, but there was something missing between their capability and their success in the organization.
After digging into why, he found that the biggest problems product people were facing, along with what they needed to be successful were:

• How are decisions made? How have they been made in the past?
• What is important to the company now? What are we working toward?
• How can I get people to trust me?
• What’s the most important thing to do right now?

Christian created a bootcamp to train people on these topics. In this talk, he will share how you can adopt various principles and parts of his program to make your own product team more successful.

Before joining SVPG, Christian was a product leader for over 15 years. Christian built teams and developed enterprise and consumer products that have shaped companies such as CareerBuilder and Merrill Corporation as well as clients such as Starbucks, CarMax, and Macy’s.
Christian graduated from Emory University with a B.A. in Psychology and Community Building and earned a dual MBA and MPM from Keller Graduate School of Management.
