Founders Club Bucharest #2: Maximizing Security through Data Minimization

The Founders Club series invites the startup community and its supporters to meet in a vibrant space, to network and find out valuable insights from current founders and their recent challenges and outcomes, success stories and best practices.
The event series aims to facilitate connections between founders and various professionals such as business peers, advisors, investors, technology partners, and innovators from local companies and public sectors.

The organizer, ROTSA (the Romanian Tech Startups Association), together with its partners: EIT Digital, TechAngels, Innovation Labs, Women in Tech Romania, Lean Startup Bucharest, Măgurele Science Park, DifinePR, Brunomag Concept and Techcelerator, emphasizes the importance of incorporating existing local community practices and using frameworks for validating and scaling lean startups and minimum viable products (MVPs) for international expansion. They adhere to the definition of a startup provided by Paul Graham, which describes it as “a temporary organization seeking a highly scalable and repeatable business model”. They emphasize that being successful solely in one's domestic market is insufficient.

The 2nd edition of the Founders Club Bucharest invites two guests: Adrian Vicol, the cofounder of Data Against Data, also an alumni of Techcelerator, and Mircea Ghiță, Country Manager Seedblink focused on seed & series A B2B software companies in CEE. Adrian will delve into the latest advancements in cybersecurity, offering strategies to combat emerging threats, while Mircea will guide attendees through the intricacies of investment management, unveiling key strategies for successful portfolio building. The event promises to be a dynamic platform for learning, collaboration, and exploring the frontiers of technology, cybersecurity, and investment.
