Welcome to ASL! This class is about more than just learning signs—it’s about learning a new way to communicate and see the world. American Sign Language is a living language with a vibrant culture behind it, and together we’ll explore both. You’ll make mistakes, you’ll laugh, and you’ll be surprised by how much you can say without using your voice. All I ask is that you come in with patience, respect, and a willingness to try. By the end of this course, you won’t just know ASL—you’ll understand why it matters.
