This is a group for curious adults - thinkers, creatives, explorers, educators, misfits - who want both rich discussions and real learning takeaways.
We meet weekly to unpack big ideas: sometimes timely, sometimes timeless, always mind-expanding.

Each session we explore a topic (or many!) that might start in neuroscience and end in poetry
Discussions are lively, respectful, and interdisciplinary tangents are encouraged
Post-session we share curated resources (books, articles, videos, experiments) for those who want to go deeper

How long is "long ago"? And how long have we been here?
For our fourth gathering, we're doing something a little different: an interactive visual journey through human history that will completely reshape how you think about civilization.We'll look at moments frozen in images - ancient artifacts, forgotten milestones, and surprisingly recent innovations - and together we'll pool our collective knowledge to place them in time.
The goal isn't to get it "right" but to test our intuitions against the facts, discover the gaps in how we think about history, and learn from each other's perspectives.
By the end, hopefully we'll see writing, cities, nations, and technology in a whole new light. (Spoiler: Nearly everything you think of as "ancient" is shockingly recent in perspective)
