The Learn to Code Learning Series is back and it's here to stay!
We’ve built an incredible curriculum, created resources, and made learning interactive. This learning series format combine breakout sessions, formalized instruction, and group learning to enable to grasp the skills necessary to become a web developer.
This event will occur on every Wednesday for the rest of 2017. It usually takes around 8 weeks to complete the entire curriculum. We have an on-boarding session at the beginning of every meeting so don't worry about falling behind!
If you can’t attend every meeting consecutively, that’s completely fine as well! The structure of this allows you to come and go as you please and enables anyone, of any skill level, to come and utilize resources for their skill level and needs.
If you’ve tried online tutorials just to get stuck and frustrated, this event is for you. We believe in community based learning to help anyone, of any skill level, grow their skills in web development.
Already have a little bit of coding knowledge? We have you covered! You’ll be able to breeze through the basics that you already mastered and join some breakout sessions that cover some more advanced topics.
By the end of the 8 part series you’ll be able to create and deploy a static website and create a mad-lib game completely from scratch.
Our first session will focus on the basics of a web page and teach you the basics of HTML and CSS.
