Dependency Inversion - For Beginners

Details
As a new engineer, you might feel a little in the dark about software architecture, best practices, and software design principles. There are many principles to choose from, and knowing which ones to start with can be tricky for your first attempts. SOLID is a mnemonic acronym for a set of principles: called the "first five principles." It's a great place to start.
These principles, when applied together, intend to make it more likely that a programmer will create a system that is easy to maintain and extend over time. Maintainability may be the number one concern for any software. Things change, requirements change, businesses change, customers change.
In this two hour session, I will guide you through the "first five principles," and then we will take a deeper dive into Dependency Inversion (The D in SOLID).
After, we'll all head over to Laughing Monk Brewery and have a beer. Laughing Monk recently opened down the street.
We are looking forward to having you join us and learning more about SOLID.
Best Regards,
Brian
