About the Event:

Have you wanted to code in JavaScript but don’t know where to start? Do you manage developers who use JavaScript and you want to understand the language better?

In this talk, Eve Porcello will use the ‘periodic table of JavaScript’ to show you all of the elements that you’ll need to develop powerful JavaScript applications. Starting from the basic types, we’ll take a closer look at how JavaScript works in the browser. We'll then look at where JavaScript is heading by touching on server-side JavaScript and what’s new in ES6.
