Saturday chess, lesson 2 and/or games

Saturday chess is going again! This is the time to come for beginner lessons or to play some friendly games - we do both activities at our Saturday events. Building off of lesson 1 last time, which includes the rules and other basics, lesson 2 now moves ahead and covers the opening phase of the game. You will learn everything you need to know to achieve a good position in the early part of the game, and also what not to do. Lessons are $10 cash, and it's always free to come and play games. You must be fully vaccinated to attend this event.
