Have you seen them movie The Matrix? It came out in 1999 and imagined a world where technology had quietly taken over human life.

People were plugged into an alternate reality, getting one dopamine hit after another, while the places around them slowly crumbled.

Look around a plaza, bus, beach, restaurant, or your own home. People are everywhere, yet so much of our attention is elsewhere.

We’re missing conversations, experiences, relationships, opportunities, and even the chance to discover what we want from life.

Learning Intensives with Ocean is for people who understand that their attention is one of their most valuable treasures.

Who is this for?
People who want to spend less time on their phones and more time noticing the details around them.

What happens?
Ocean leads a lecture filled with stories, ideas, and practical ways to think differently about our relationship with technology.

Then we put those ideas into practice through shared activities that get us talking and engaging with each other and strangers.

Extra details
We’ll meet for one hour, usually somewhere with air conditioning, somewhere beautiful in Valencia, or at the beach.

Reminders will be sent if you need to bring a blanket, notepad, a drink, or snacks for yourself.

All are welcome and the more diverse our group is the more magic we'll create.

Ocean Winterberger is a 38 year old teacher and dual citizen of New Zealand and the United States. They lead lively lectures about attention, connection, and how we spend our limited time.
