Tunisian Basics (Crochet Online)

PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION BEFORE SIGNING UP!

For this class, you DO NOT need to know how to crochet or knit. Tunisian crochet is a method of weaving fabric using the loop-casting technique of knitting, mixed with the hooking (pull-through) of crochet.

Join me from the comfort of your own home to learn the very satisfying art of Tunisian Crochet, starting with these 2 basic stitches- Tunisian knit stitch and Tunisian simple stitch, to help you create scarves and blankets in a jiffy!

At the time of class, you will need:
1. A Tunisian crochet hook or "Afghan hook". Can use any size between 5.5 mm to 8.0 mm (it is totally okay to have a larger hook this size in Tunisian). Please see the link for my list of Crochet Materials on Amazon for examples.
2. Medium (#4) worsted weight yarn. Choose a color that is rich, so you can see the stitches, not too dark or too light. No black, no white. (Think: teal, taupe, magenta, etc)
3. Your tablet, smart phone, laptop, or PC. You do not need to use your camera for this lesson, only if you'd like or find it useful.
4. Microsoft Teams application downloaded onto the device you are using.

The cost of the class is $10.00.
Cost covers 2 hours of instruction with troubleshooting and digital copy of materials for download which include pictures, written instructions and video links.

LATE POLICY:
All participants who arrive later than 15 minutes into class are subject to non-entry depending on how far we are into the class material. You may be sent the video of the class (if one is captured) and digital materials in your email still.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

• Per Meetup policy, a refund will be processed if the class is cancelled or rescheduled by the host.
• If you cannot make the class, please message the host (Yarn Over Cleveland) so you can discuss alternatives.
