Crochet Virus Shawl

This is a virtual crochet class held via Teams. It is suggested that you download the Teams application on the device you plan to use.

Come learn the ever-so-popular virus crochet pattern. Once you get the first 3-4 rows down, you'll be addicted! Continue on with the same pattern, just multiplying each row, to create a beautifully draped shawl ready to gift or wear.

Experience Level: 2-Advanced Beginner- You must be familiar with the following stitches: slip knot, chain, single crochet, and double crochet.

Required Materials:
Please come prepared with the following:

1. Yarn of your choice (size 4)- this is a beautiful pattern that can be worked with any yarn. I completed a "1-skein" shawl with this pattern using Lion Brand Mandala Bonus Bundle (this is the larger cake of the Mandala yarn). I have included this yarn and others in my Crochet Notions list for easy access.
2. A 5.0 mm hook or corresponding hook size to yarn chosen.
3. Microsoft Teams downloaded on the device you plan to use. (please note: using a work computer managed by a large organization may limit chat features).

We will not complete an entire shawl, however this is a continuous pattern that keeps going until you are content with the length!

The cost of this course is $10.00.
Cost covers 2 hours of guided lessons, digital learning materials, and class recording sent by email after class.

Late Policy:

• Please arrive a little early or on time. All students attempting to enter the class after 15 minutes past the start time will not be denied access. You will still be sent the learning material and video recording of class within 24 hours.

Cancelation Policy:

• Per Meetup guidelines, any classes cancelled or rescheduled by the host will be refunded to all participants.
• If you cannot make it to class, please contact the host (Yarn Over Cleveland) by direct message or email ***yarnovercle@gmail.com*** to discuss alternatives, such as rescheduling to a different class or receiving the learning materials in your email.
