I’ve created a class to follow up on a beginners skills. Here we will learn tips and tricks to ease stitching and advance your crochet technique, including a 101 on pattern reading, tension adjusting exercises, and discuss some different pathways that crochet artists take and how to make the most of your new skills!

For this class, you must already know how to complete: a slip knot, chain, single crochet, and double crochet.

At the time of class, you will need:

  1. A Crochet hook, size 5.5 mm.
  2. One skein of size medium (#4) worsted weight yarn. Choose a solid color that is rich in color, so you can see your stitches, not too dark or too light. No black, no white. (Think: teal, mustard, magenta, etc..)
  3. Yarn snippers or scissors
  4. Stitch markers
  5. A darning needle
  6. Your tablet, smart phone, laptop, or PC. You do not need to use your camera for this lesson, only if you'd like to.
  7. Microsoft Teams application downloaded onto the device you are using.

The cost of the class is $10.00
The cost covers a 2- hour session, and my personally written guide for pattern reading and advancing your crochet skills with illustrations and links to videos.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

  • Can’t make it? You will receive a link of the class video and all other digital learning materials in your email whether you can make it or not.
  • A refund will be processed if the class is cancelled or rescheduled by the host.
  • If you cannot make the class, please message the host (Yarn Over Cleveland) so you can discuss alternatives. (rescheduling or replacing with a different class) otherwise you will be sent the material.
