“Saving is the gap between your ego and your income.” / ~ Morgan Housel
“The more you learn, the more you earn.” / ~ Warren Buffett
Let's talk about money. Ahhh money, the thing that makes us more of who we already are. The thing that creates freedom or slavery, the thing many live and die for, the thing that can take away or give purpose. Not complicated at all...you're ready?
In this session we will dive into the psychology of money, ideas taken from Morgan Housel's work as well as Vicki Robin's book "Your Money or Your Life." and others who've explored a mindset of prudence and growth when it comes to money.
We will touch on mindset, behavior, emotions, risk, luck, compounding, investing, saving, earning, purpose and more. We will also share financial goals (optional), share intel and learn from each other. This session is meant to be conversational, even though it will include research and notes I will share with everyone during the session.
How is this event different from others? There is no hype, no clickbait, no scamming people out of their money with shady courses or promises. We look past the surface, dive into the motives, anticipate obstacles and reinforce the kind of habits that will make our goals and dreams possible. After goals are set (in this case, financial goals) we keep accountability throughout the year until the next one rolls on, and then the next, and then the next.
