What we’re about
Slow down, breathe deeply, and move mindfully to the sound of cello.
Experience yoga to the beauty of my own Bach chorale recordings for four cellos, followed by live cello during an extended savasana.
Legato Cello Yoga® offers a warm, personal space to nurture body, calm mind, and uplift spirit. Each moderately paced slow flow (influenced by Vinyasa and Ashtanga styles) helps you unwind, stretch, and strengthen with breath-based movement and longer posture holds. We begin with a gentle warm-up, sometimes add meditation or an invigorating flow, and end with a deep, restorative savasana surrounded by the soothing sound of live cello (up to 30 minutes).
Some gatherings also feature guided chanting, journaling, or a light reception. All levels are welcome.
I’m Annie Yeh — certified yoga teacher (RYT Yoga Alliance) and Bay Area professional cellist. I founded Legato Cello Yoga to cultivate a community of wellness and deep listening through the union of yoga and beautiful music.
Because classes are small and intended to provide personal attention, this group is private. If you’d like to join us, just share a little about your interest in yoga, cello, or both.
