Valley Preferred Cycling Center Saturday Ride

I need some training miles, and so here's what I'll be doing, for anybody who would like to join me. I'm doing the event linked above (42 mile option). I plan to ride tempo to Leaser Lake, and to ride at or near full gas for the rest.

The weather looks amazing, and the route is road cycling gold.

I've left the normal Saturday ride parameters below, for those of you who want to do more or less mileage there is a sub 30 mile option and a metric century (62 miles) on Steve's ride (linked above).

I hope to see you there, and the normal Saturday ride should resume on the 24th.

Normally, we do the following on this recurring ride:

The route: Roy's Bowers Loop .

Social ride. Rolling terrain. LVCC rules apply.

Wet roads will typically cancel (will endeavor to post weather conditions in comments each week). Recommend arriving either ready to go or ~15 minutes early. Please have your equipment in good working order, sign in, etc... Please arrive sufficiently early to attend mandatory riders' meeting ready to ride at 9:55. Ride will roll out promptly at 10:00.

Again, this is a social paced ride and I'll endeavor to keep the group together. Suggestions include having the route programmed in your GPS, bringing food/ hydration, and having a family LVCC membership (here's a convenient link- https://www.lvcycling.club/index.php/join) !

***If you're also an event organizer, please leave a comment if you'd like to co-host. Since I likely won't be at every single one of these, and it's a repeating event, this would help. Plus, this way people can split into differently paced groups all with separate ride leads as well.
