Donut Derby & Munchkin Mile

The Donut Derby is a fun 36-mile race with a twist: Get a 3 minute time credit for each donut eaten at stops positioned at mile markers 12 and 24. Donut-adjusted time determines the winner in several age categories.
New for 2025: We have added a hand cycle category to the derby. Hand Cyclists will race a 24 mile route. They will get a 3 minute time credit for each donut eaten at mile 12. Donut-adjusted time determines the winner in this category.
A complementary lunch for racers and an awards ceremony follow the ride.
Each person completing the course will be entered in a drawing to win a variety of prizes. Want to improve your chances? We’re offering virtual donuts for $1.00 each. Every Virtual Donut purchased will give you an additional chance in the drawing. You must be present at the drawing after the race to win a prize.

Registration:
Online registration is open!
$50 per adult rider;
$25 for riders 11-19;
$40 per Tandem rider ($80 total).
Registration closes August 28th at 11:50 pm or when 350 are registered.
There is NO day-of-event registration. Pre-registration required.
Check-in opens at 7:30 am. To prevent congestion at the start, you may start anytime 9:00 am to 9:15 am. Don't worry the timing chips will track your overall race time.

Munchkin Mile:
Children age 10 and under are welcome to participate in the Annual Munchkin Mile,
starting at 12:30 pm. We will be ready to check them in starting at 10:30 am. Your
‘munchkins’ will be given the opportunity to ride five laps on the Valley Preferred
Cycling Center world famous T-Town Velodrome, home of world-class bicycle racing. For those who have not mastered two-wheelers, training wheels and trikes are also allowed. Munchkins (the food) will also be offered to keep your kids refueled. Medals will be awarded at the completion of the event 🥇🥈🥉
