### The 16th Annual Brake the Cycle bike ride is schedule for August 9, 2025.

One of Berks County’s premier cycling events Brake the Cycle of Poverty delivers a beautiful day through the rolling hills and scenic landscape across some of Pennsylvania’s most beautiful terrain.

#### 62, 40, 25, and 10 mile routes offer something for everyone.

Proceeds go to Friends, Inc, to aid their work in addressing food insecurity and providing direct and referral assistance in utility and housing support along with medical assistance, budget counseling, career education, and facilitates relevant partnerships with other service providers. Friend, Inc. continues to explore areas of need and is committed to the resources necessary to help all reach self-sufficiency.
