Oley Valley Fair 2025

Oley Fair out and back
The Oley Fair means blue skies and shoo-fly pies. (NOTE: Rain date is Friday, so check back here early Thursday morning IF weather is questionable.)
This is a 42.5 mile out-and-back ride from Rodale Park. I plan to ride at a 13-14 mph pace, so be prepared to travel at this rate or download the route and YOYO. There is 2000' of vertical, but the only challenging part is at the climb to Dryville.
We pass Bowers park at about mile 12.5, so if you want to cut 25 miles out, join us there. Please comment if you plan to do this.
Admission is free, but bring some money to support the local organizations. I plan to spend about 1-1/2 hours at the fair. I recommend bringing cleat covers or a pair of sandals, or switch to SPD pedals for the day. Also, a bike lock is a good idea and a small bag or backpack to carry spare shoes or clothing.

Unfortunately, we will arrive too late for the swine judging. But there is beef judging at noon.
