About us
🌦️ There’s No Such Thing as Bad Weather – Walking & Hiking Group 🚶♂️🚶♀️
.........Only bad clothing choices.
Weather Warriors welcome!
This is not your typical walking/Hiking group — and that’s very much on purpose. This group is for people who love being outside, who enjoy walking in all seasons, and who understand that weather isn’t something we wait out — it’s something we walk with. Rain, snow, wind, heat, grey skies, sunshine… this is Toronto, and this is the experience. We are weather warriors 🌬️☔❄️🌞 — we show up prepared, adaptable, and ready to move.
Toronto is one of the greenest cities in the world, filled with ravines, neighbourhood routes, parks, trails, and hidden gems. This group will explore 50+ walking and hiking routes across the city, always transit-accessible, always grounded in connection, movement, and shared experience.
Our walks are on the leisure side — not too slow, not too fast — designed for people who want to move their bodies and talk while doing it. This is a social walking group. By the end of a walk, the hope is that you’ve met someone new, shared a conversation, or simply enjoyed being part of a group moving together.
Here’s what makes us different 👇
We don’t cancel walks just because of the weather. Other groups do — we don’t. Walks go ahead rain or shine. Sometimes routes may be adjusted, shortened, or adapted based on conditions, but the expectation is simple: when you sign up, we’re going.
That means this group is best suited for people who:
🌤️ Check the weather before they RSVP
🧥 Know what conditions they’re comfortable walking in
☂️ Dress for the forecast (boots, umbrellas, layers — all welcome)
🧠 Take ownership of their decision to attend
🤝 Understand that an RSVP is a commitment to the group
You are always welcome to:
– Join the group and attend only the walks that suit you
– Decide on the day and show up without RSVPing
– RSVP later once you’re confident the weather meets your needs
What doesn’t work here is signing up in advance and cancelling last-minute because the weather wasn’t what you expected. When people RSVP, others plan around that — routes, pacing, safety, and the shared sense of “we’re doing this together.” That follow-through matters in this group.
Extreme or unsafe conditions (severe cold, extreme heat, dangerous wind) will always be an organizer call. This isn’t about being reckless — it’s about being prepared, realistic, and grounded.
Above all, this is a friendly, respectful, easy-going community. Everyone is welcome. Everyone is treated with care. We also respect boundaries: no unsolicited messages, no pressure, no assumptions. Connection happens naturally, on the walk.
If you’re looking for a walking group that embraces the seasons, values commitment, and believes that showing up — in life and in weather — is kind of the point… you’re in the right place 🌲👣

🌊🌿 SCARBOROUGH BLUFFS HIKE & GUILD PARK GARDENS 🌿🌊
Kennedy Station, 2455 Eglinton Avenue East, Toronto, ON, CA🌊🌿 SCARBOROUGH BLUFFS HIKE & GUILD PARK GARDENS 🌿🌊
Cliffside Views, Hidden Gardens & One of Toronto’s Most Beautiful Walks
Some parts of Toronto don’t even feel like Toronto.
Join us for a scenic hike through the breathtaking Scarborough Bluffs and the artistic beauty of Guild Park and Gardens — a walk that combines nature, history, lake views, and some surprisingly hidden corners of the city.
We’ll begin at Guild Park & Gardens, a unique outdoor space filled with historic architectural fragments, sculptures, gardens, and quiet pathways. Once home to artists, creatives, and cultural figures, the park feels almost dreamlike — part gallery, part ruin, part hidden garden.
From there, we’ll make our way toward the Scarborough Bluffs and the waterfront trails below.
Stretching roughly 15 km along Lake Ontario, the Bluffs are one of Toronto’s most dramatic natural features — towering cliffs formed over 12,000 years ago through erosion and shifting sediment. And honestly? Some of the lake views feel more like cottage country than the city.
This is not a formal historical tour.
It’s a social hike with beautiful scenery, fresh air, and good conversation.

🍁Niagara Falls Hiking Day Trip — Trails and Dinner !!
Fairmont Royal York, 100 Front Street West, Toronto, ON, CA🍁 Fall Niagara Falls Hiking Trip
🌦️ Rain or Shine!
The adventure goes on — whether it’s golden sunshine, crisp autumn air, or a little mist from the Falls (it is Niagara, after all!).
***
🥾 About the Trip
Let’s escape the city for a full fall day of fresh air, friendship, and breathtaking scenery! We’ll explore the natural side of Niagara Falls — less tourist traps, more trails, trees, and pure wonder.
We’ll meet outside the Fairmont Royal York (Front St. W) in the morning, hop on the GO Train, and head to Niagara Glen Nature Reserve for an afternoon hike among ancient boulders and the turquoise waters of the Niagara River.
This hike includes stairs (about three flights) and uneven terrain — so bring your comfy hiking shoes or sturdy runners (flip-flops will cry).
***
🌲 The Trail Experience
The Niagara Glen is a hidden gem — carved out of the gorge thousands of years ago. We’ll follow winding forest paths, stop for photos, and take in the beauty of fall leaves glowing against the mighty river.
It’s about 4 km total, with lots of opportunities to pause, chat, and soak in the view.
⚠️🥾 IMPORTANT: HIKE EXPECTATIONS – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY 🥾⚠️
This is a real hiking trail, not a casual walk.
You need to arrive knowing you can:
✔️ Walk for an extended period of time
✔️ Handle uneven terrain and elevation (including the climb back up)
✔️ Keep a steady group pace without frequent stops
This is not the time to test your fitness level or “see how it goes.”
If you are unsure whether you can complete the hike, please sit this one out.
👉 If someone is unable to keep up, they may be asked to turn back or continue at their own pace.
The group will not be stopping or slowing down significantly, as it impacts the experience for everyone.
This is about keeping the group safe, on track, and enjoyable for all.
***
🍔 Dinner & Cozy Evening
After the hike, we’ll head to Chuck’s Roadhouse on Clifton Hill for a relaxed dinner (everyone pays for their own meal).
It’s friendly, affordable, and always buzzing after a big day outdoors.
Please Note - This place is not the most vegetarian friendly place. If you will not be joining us because of that reason. Please let me know as will be trying to make reservations. This should not be something you tell me lat minute.
***
🎇 Niagara Falls
After dinner, we’ll stroll down to the Falls and enjoy the rolling sound of the majestic falls.

💲 Meetup Fee:
💵 $5 cash at the event or

🌿 More About the Brick Works
From 1889 to the 1980s, the Don Valley Brick Works was one of Canada’s most important brick manufacturing sites, helping build much of Toronto itself.Today, the restored site has become one of the city’s most beloved urban nature spaces — combining historic industrial buildings, markets, trails, gardens, and environmental spaces all in one place.
It’s one of those Toronto spots that people always seem surprised they didn’t discover sooner.***
