About us
๐ฆ๏ธ Thereโs No Such Thing as Bad Weather โ Walking & Hiking Group ๐ถโโ๏ธ๐ถโโ๏ธ
.........Only bad clothing choices.
Weather Warriors welcome!
This is not your typical walking/Hiking group โ and thatโs very much on purpose. This group is for people who love being outside, who enjoy walking in all seasons, and who understand that weather isnโt something we wait out โ itโs something we walk with. Rain, snow, wind, heat, grey skies, sunshineโฆ this is Toronto, and this is the experience. We are weather warriors ๐ฌ๏ธโโ๏ธ๐ โ we show up prepared, adaptable, and ready to move.
Toronto is one of the greenest cities in the world, filled with ravines, neighbourhood routes, parks, trails, and hidden gems. This group will explore 50+ walking and hiking routes across the city, always transit-accessible, always grounded in connection, movement, and shared experience.
Our walks are on the leisure side โ not too slow, not too fast โ designed for people who want to move their bodies and talk while doing it. This is a social walking group. By the end of a walk, the hope is that youโve met someone new, shared a conversation, or simply enjoyed being part of a group moving together.
Hereโs what makes us different ๐
We donโt cancel walks just because of the weather. Other groups do โ we donโt. Walks go ahead rain or shine. Sometimes routes may be adjusted, shortened, or adapted based on conditions, but the expectation is simple: when you sign up, weโre going.
That means this group is best suited for people who:
๐ค๏ธ Check the weather before they RSVP
๐งฅ Know what conditions theyโre comfortable walking in
โ๏ธ Dress for the forecast (boots, umbrellas, layers โ all welcome)
๐ง Take ownership of their decision to attend
๐ค Understand that an RSVP is a commitment to the group
You are always welcome to:
โ Join the group and attend only the walks that suit you
โ Decide on the day and show up without RSVPing
โ RSVP later once youโre confident the weather meets your needs
What doesnโt work here is signing up in advance and cancelling last-minute because the weather wasnโt what you expected. When people RSVP, others plan around that โ routes, pacing, safety, and the shared sense of โweโre doing this together.โ That follow-through matters in this group.
Extreme or unsafe conditions (severe cold, extreme heat, dangerous wind) will always be an organizer call. This isnโt about being reckless โ itโs about being prepared, realistic, and grounded.
Above all, this is a friendly, respectful, easy-going community. Everyone is welcome. Everyone is treated with care. We also respect boundaries: no unsolicited messages, no pressure, no assumptions. Connection happens naturally, on the walk.
If youโre looking for a walking group that embraces the seasons, values commitment, and believes that showing up โ in life and in weather โ is kind of the pointโฆ youโre in the right place ๐ฒ๐ฃ

๐๐ฆ DANFORTH BURGER & ICE CREAM WALK! ๐ฆ๐
Main Subway Station, M4C 4X6, Toronto, on, CA๐๐ฆ DANFORTH BURGER & ICE CREAM WALK! ๐ฆ๐
A Summer Evening Stroll, One of Toronto's Most Underrated Burgers & Giant Ice Cream Scoops
Sometimes the best events are the simplest ones.Join us for a relaxed summer evening walk along the Danforth as we make our way from Main Street Station to Broadview Station,
enjoying one of Toronto's most vibrant neighbourhoods along the way. This isn't about rushing from place to place. It's about getting outside, enjoying the evening, meeting new people, and sharing a couple of local favourites that many Torontonians still haven't discovered.
Our first stop will be Square Boy, a true Danforth institution that serves some of the most underrated burgers in Toronto. No fancy gimmicks. No social media hype. Just great burgers that locals have loved for decades. ๐ They are soo goo that they ONLY TAKE CASH!
After we've eaten, we'll walk across the street to Kawartha Dairy for dessert. If you've never been before, prepare yourself.
The scoops are legendary.
Seriously.
Most first-time visitors cannot believe how much ice cream they give you. ๐ฆ๐
Afterward, we'll continue our walk west along the Danforth toward Broadview Station, enjoying the neighbourhood, conversation, and hopefully a beautiful summer evening.

๐ Fall Walk: Rouge National Urban Park and Picnic๐ณ
Don Mills Subway Station, 1700 Sheppard Avenue East, GTA, ON, CA๐ Fall Walk: Rouge National Urban Park ๐ณ
is Canada's only Urban Park and is one of our most popular hikes that we do as it's really the only hiking trail in Toronto that you can get to by TTC. Once you are on the trail you will not believe that you are still in the City. Not only will we be walking up and hills but I will take you to one of the best lookout points in the Valley. You don't want to miss an afternoon of hiking.
This trail can be a bit challenging (with some ups and downs), so it may not be the best choice for beginners. But if youโre up for it, youโll feel proud of yourself at the end โ and youโll have shared the experience with a great group of people.
After the hike, weโll enjoy a group picnic (30โ40 mins). Please bring something small to share โ nothing too big so itโs easy to carry! ๐ฅช๐

McDonald's, 11 St Clair Ave E, Toronto, ON, CA๐ณ๐ฆ ST. CLAIR WEST VILLAGE WALK, WYCHWOOD PARK, ICE CREAM & MORE! ๐ฆ๐ณ
Hidden Streets, Storybook Homes & Some of Torontoโs Best Ice Cream
Some parts of Toronto feel like you've accidentally wandered into a completely different city.Join us for a relaxed social walk through St. Clair West and the hidden enclave of Wychwood Park โ one of Toronto's most unique and exclusive residential communities.
Wychwood Park is private, residential, and unlike anywhere else in the city. The homes are all architecturally distinct โ no cookie-cutter subdivisions here. Living in Wychwood Park involves a waiting list, board approval, and community guidelines designed to preserve the character of the neighbourhood.
It feels almost village-like... peaceful, artistic, and slightly secret.
This is not a formal historical tour. It's a social walk with beautiful surroundings, interesting neighbourhoods, and good conversation.
