I’m Leo, a longtime RPG fan, CRPG addict, and lover of overly elaborate character names despite not having one.
I started this group because I wanted a consistent place to find Dungeons & Dragons players in the Greater Los Angeles area to join in on my in person campaigns. My campaigns have a good balance of combat, exploration, roleplay, ridiculous moments, and characters that somehow develop three paragraphs of backstory after surviving one goblin encounter.
I tend to enjoy the tactical side of D&D, but I’m definitely not looking for a table where everyone has to take the game too seriously. Clever plans, terrible plans, bad accents, unnecessary arguments with NPCs, and jokes that derail the campaign for ten minutes are all part of the experience.
My goal is to build a regular group of friendly, reliable players who want to show up, roll some dice, meet new people, and create campaigns we’ll still be talking about years later.
New players and veterans are both welcome. Just bring a good attitude, a willingness to be part of the group, and preferably enough common sense not to split the party.
Unless splitting the party would be really funny. Oh and snacks.
The games will be hosted in my apartment. I live alone with my cat Coco. We will be playing on a TV and using fully animated battle maps and scenes as well as still images for perception checks so that we may all enjoy maximum immersion.
