Lesbian Organizers United

YOU ARE NOT ALONE OUT THERE! This group is for you if you are committed to supporting our community by offering high quality online and/or in person events and would love support and connection with others doing the same.

We would love to have join if you identify as a woman loving women and HAVE A LEADERSHIP ROLE OR ACT AS A COMMUNITY ORGANIZER in one or more Meetup/Facebook/like types of groups of 25+ members. We use the word Lesbian as a generic catch all for any woman who loves women, whether you’re bi, pan, trans, cis, queer, etc.

This group has been created to facilitate connection, troubleshooting advise, experience, wisdom and idea sharing among lesbian leaders around the world, thereby creating in essence “Lesbians Without Borders.” No sense in reinventing the wheel so to speak. Between all of us, we suspect we've been there and done it at least once!

We are Jody from the So Many Women...So Little Time group in Orange, CA, Cynthia from Les Luv in Washington DC and Ruth Schwartz of Conscious Girlfriend Academy. Between all of our meetup and Facebook groups, we have well over 15,000 members.

Now, since quarantine we have women from all over the world joining in on our activities. We realize that when we put our hearts and minds together we are better! We choose to come from abundance, not scarcity. When we lift each other up, without holding onto what we imagine is "ours," we all flourish even more.

Why are we doing this? Our vision is to bring empowerment, education, travel, personal growth, dating, spirituality and rip-roaring fun to any lesbian anywhere! Through Lesbians Organizers United, we can accomplish this by expanding our own community networks and memberships and providing shared opportunities to one another.

Let's brainstorm together, share our creativity, bounce ideas off each other and discuss our challenges. We can teach each other what we have done that worked and the lessons we have learned from what didn't.

One of our visions is for us to freely post events that we wish to share with each other so they are available to be cross posted in anyone's groups. Often, there is a desire for quality events but not enough time or energy to create them. So many of our events would benefit everyone and we want to make them available. The possibilities that we can create together are endless!
