What we’re about
WLW, Lesbian, Queer Women and Bisexual Women Unite in Riverside County! This is a member driven group where every member is also an Event Organizer. If you just want to attend events then that is cool but in case you ever want to host an event in the near future you have the tools here to do so. All members can attend any events. Any member who posts an event on this Meetup page must live in Riverside county (to host in or outside of Riverside County) or host an event in Riverside County (if you do not own or rent in Riverside County).
To become a member and to maintain membership you must have an identifiable photo of you (sunglasses are okay if you are not out yet). Also please have your real first name on your meetup profile. We will remove members who take down their photos once they become members. We want to build trust from the start with one another. If you attend an online event we require video/camera to be on the entire event (unless the host makes it optional after introductions).
When you plan on hosting an event please look at the Event page. Check to make sure that the event you are hosting does not conflict in date and time span as your fellow member. If you need help creating an event page please DM me here on Meetup and I will have a fellow (experienced) member help you.
Please do not show up unannounced to events and if you RSVP yes please show up or let the host know a day in advance if you have to cancel. If there are too many "No Shows" reported by fellow members we will have to enforce a policy where we remove members for flaking out.
If you participate in any in-person or online events you understand and assume all risks and liabilities and will not take any legal action against anyone in this Meetup group.
