Lesbian Scientists and Engineers Group

Lesbian Scientists and Engineers social is for adult Lesbian women of any age looking to socialize and network with other professionals. The purpose of the group is to connect with other lesbian women in these fields and form friendships. . It is also permissible to ask a member out on a date after you have met them in person through an event. Please no catfishing.
All members are expected to be kind and respectful to each other. All members will be asked to host at least one event every 6 months. Hosting is easy. All you need to do is show up to the event and agree to facilitate communication just prior to and during the event. Members may need help with directions , instructions , or carpooling. All communication will be using the Meetup app. No one will be asked to host an event in their own home unless it is with a small group of members that they have already met and feel comfortable with in that environment.
You will be asked to provide an email address and telephone number in order to join this group. Only the organizer will have access to this information. Your email address and phone number will not be shared with anyone without your permission.
Members are allowed to bring at least one guest to any event. Donations to support the group are always welcome. The organizer is open to feedback and suggestions about events and activities for the group.
