What makes a concert special? First off, it can’t be just another rock/funk/pop band with guitar/bass/drums. And this Meetup’s not about ‘Hey let’s see the best band in town this week.’ It’s more like, ‘After a long wait for something can’t-miss, let’s catch this show because it’s going to be unforgettable.’
Who? This group is for anyone who’d occasionally like to attend a special concert—a rare opportunity. Let’s open our ears and explore.
Who’s running this group? My name’s Evan and I’m a musician and musicologist. I don’t make anything from the bands/venues/ticketsellers—I don’t even know them. I’m just meeting up with people who like attending a great concert.
(Not all the events are concerts. There’ll also be an occasional film, or sports broadcast.)
