Let's Be Fabricators is a free, community-run meetup for anyone who enjoys making things or wants to learn. We envision visiting local fabricators, touring workshops, building projects together, and hosting casual discussions about manufacturing, craftsmanship, tools, and technology. Everyone is welcome, from complete beginners to experienced makers. The group is not affiliated with any company, business, or educational institution, and there are no membership fees. Some events may have optional costs, such as workshop materials, venue entry, or food. Our goal is simple: connect people, celebrate local fabrication, and inspire more South Africans to make, build, repair, and create together."
