What we’re about
This group is for anyone in and around Chesham, Amersham, Berkhamstead, Chalfonts, Tring, Hemel, Beaconsfield etc who would like to meet new people just like themselves and hopefully have some fun times out. It's free to join the group and any activity suggestions are welcome!
Whether you like walking, a lazy Sunday coffee, a relaxing wind down drink at the pub, comedy and gig nights, days or nights out in London, I hope we can get together for fun and laughter!
If this will be your first meetup, I know it can be a little daunting! So please feel free to message myself or any of the organisers prior to an event or if you have any question.
Note: when joining the group please ensure that your profile questions are filled out. The answers can be as long or short as you like but please make an effort to introduce yourself to the group! If you don't your membership will be declined. Also please ensure the profile picture is a real picture of yourself as this helps members recognise you at our meets. Thanks a lot and can't wait to see you soon x :)
I recommend joining our Facebook group also! As extra events are often on there too

- S2S Walk: Amersham to Chorleywood via Chalfont St GilesMetro Lounge, Amersham
This station-to-station (S2S) walk will take us seven miles along the beautiful Misbourne Valley and then up into Chorleywood. We will have a short pub/cafe break along the way.
Rail travel: Starting and finishing at/near a railway station, the plan is to park/start in Amersham and catch a train back from Chorleywood at the end. If you live in one of these places, even better! Trains run hourly - please get the 9:54 or 10:54 train if you park at Chorleywood before we start.
Food: For those interested, I propose we have coffee/brunch in Amersham at the Metro Lounge from 10:30am (entirely optional of course) before we depart at 11:30am. Similarly, there's an opportunity to have drinks and/or food at the end of the walk in Chorleywood before returning to Amersham. Otherwise, please bring lunch and a drink with you.
Clothing and safety: Being March, please come prepared with suitable footwear and clothing, including rugged shoes, hat, gloves, rain jacket and an extra warm layer - cold, wet and muddy/slippery conditions are likely at this time of year. Only attend if you feel fit and well on the day, and remember you are responsible for your own safety and that of others too.
Looking forward to it!
