Whether you're a seasoned player or new to the game, this event is the perfect opportunity to socialize, have a little bit of competitive fun, and enjoy the outdoors. The event will start with a friendly game of croquet, where you can learn tips and tricks from fellow members. It's a bonus if you are a highly-skilled player who can teach us a new technique/trick or two. After the first game, we'll play a second game!

For those of you wondering why is it free and if there are any gimmicks? No gimmicks. The players who participate at Let's Play Croquet enjoy playing croquet, enjoy meeting new people, and enjoy being a little bit competitive, especially when learning new skills and techniques. (All of us have a lot to learn and we enjoy learning with others.) The Meetup fee is paid for, all of the equipment has been bought and paid for, so there is nothing left to do but to play and enjoy playing croquet. We particularly appreciate good-natured people who realize that croquet is just a game and who support the fun atmosphere we try to maintain. The better any one of us gets means the better we all get -- and we all want to get better! Besides, playing croquet in idyllic John Chesnut Park puts us in a safe and welcoming atmosphere where it's a win-win-win enjoying the outdoors.

You will find us every Saturday morning from 9:30 to about noon around Shelter #11 at John Chesnut Park.
