At Night...Westmere Loop Walk

Details
Hi Friends,
Welcome to our "At Night - Winter Series Walks"
This evenings loop walk will be through Meola Reef dog park and the quietly understated city suburb of Westmere. Flat walk at a moderate pace, some sections of rough, unformed paths that are likely to be very wet & muddy. Along the way, We'll navigate our way through a quagmire and see the brightly lit houses and gardens of Westmere.
Bring your good self along to explore an area that may be new to you, get some exercise and meet friends. Be prepared for whatever the weather throws at us, check the forecast at www.metservice.com
Bring a bright torch, you will be walking in the dark.
If you have an interest in exercise, new places, local knowledge and lighthearted chitchat, then this walk is a great way to spend your Tuesday evening. Good training for a Great Walk or recovering runners.
Fitness requirement for your enjoyment: Be able to keep a 13 min/km pace for 2 hours, with no assistance or rest.
Bring or wear a warm jacket, winter is upon us. This walk can be very wet & muddy in places, please wear shoes with good grip and that you don't mind getting wet.
Please note: there are dogs not on leads at Meola dog park
