About us
We are interested in riding to all corners of Arizona. Riders of all skill levels are welcomed to join! The idea is to uncover all of the hidden wonders of Arizona by motorcycle. We have some ideas for rides and are open to suggestions. There is no preference here for motorcycle brand, affiliation or other agendas. The intention of this group is to ride for the pure joy of riding.

Rockin' for 250 years; the Fourth is with us!
Quick Trip, 19815 North 7th Street, Phoenix, AZ, USThe time is coming soon for our annual pilgrimage to the Kanab Fourth-of-July celebration!
Since the fourth falls on Saturday this year, I thought it would be cool just to hang around town and enjoy not only the fireworks but the parade and festivities as well!
On Friday, we'll ride the back way through the Coconino National Forest, through Flagstaff, and on to Kanab, Utah.
On Saturday, Kanab puts on a full day festival, which climaxes in a spectacular Fourth of July Fireworks display!
On Sunday we take mostly the same route back home, but we'll travel through Oak Creek and Sedona.
SCOOT MAPS:
HOTEL: BOTH NIGHTS!
Parry Lodge: it is cheap, we can walk to dinner, and we can walk to the park. Traffic and parking is heavily congested because of the festival, as you can imagine, so it is a great bonus not to have to ride to anything.
My total for 2 nights is $194, your experience may vary somewhat.
THINGS TO BRING:
- A portable chair so you can sit comfortably to watch the fireworks
- A light sweat shirt/jacket; the evening might get a bit chilly for us desert rats.
THINGS TO REMEMBER:
- We lose an hour when we cross the border into Utah. I have accounted for this in my timelines for Friday and Sunday.
DESCRIPTION:
Day 1: Friday, July 3
- After picking up riders, we'll ride through Payson, up Lake Mary Road, through Flagstaff, and lunch in Cameron. Afterward, we'll break at the Navajo Bridge Interpretive Center, then check in at the Parry Lodge in Kanab.
- After we settle in, we can walk across the street for dinner.

Day 2: Saturday, July 4
