We’re All Here Because of Sex - The Last Taboo
Details
Let’s just get this out of the way: every single person in this room exists because two people had sex. It’s the most universal experience humanity has right up there with death, but way more fun (allegedly, and no shade to our friends on the asexual spectrum who’d beg to differ, you’re valid too, and also invited).
This isn’t a biology class, a confessional, or an excuse to overshare about your situationship. It’s a chance to laugh, cringe, and actually unpack why something so fundamental to being human got buried under decades of awkward silences, terrible sex-ed videos, and that one mortifying conversation with a parent who clearly wanted to be anywhere else.
We’ll talk about where the shame comes from, how it sneaks into our adult lives, and what it might feel like to talk about sex (or the choice not to have it) with a little more honesty and a lot less cringe — even if “honest” sometimes just means admitting that you also can’t say the word “vagina” without laughing.
