Celebrate the start to pride month with us outdoors at Ridley Creek State Park! Meet us at the Area 9 Picnic Site for a moderate 4.3 mile hike on a trail that meanders through dense woodlands with an "old-growth" feel, dominated by massive American beech, tulip poplar, and black walnut trees. A highlight of the hike is the lower section, which traces the babbling waters of Ridley Creek. Fellow group member EmJay will deftly lead us on this one!

Terrain: Expect a mix of single-track dirt paths and winding woodland trails. It can get slightly rocky in spots, and you may need to navigate a few small stream crossings and gentle rolling hills. Dogs are welcome! As always, wearing sturdy shoes and bringing plenty of water is recommended. The loop should take us 2 hours or so to complete.

Please note that there IS a restroom at the trailhead.

In case of inclement weather, please check back on the event page for updates. Otherwise, hoping to see a mix of new and familiar faces as we kick off pride month together :)
