Greetings Board Gamers,
You are invited to a Potluck Picnic in Parc Lafontaine with some light, park-friendly games.
When: Saturday, July 19, 2025 — 2:30 to 5:30 PM
Where: Parc Lafontaine
How to find us:
We will convene near the steps of the designated Meeting Spot - Maison des Arts Participatifs – at 2:30pm. This is the building with the public restrooms in the back, situated in the middle of Parc Lafontaine, next to the bocci ball/pétanque and volleyball play areas. We will wait for about 15 minutes at the designated Meeting Spot and then find a nearby spot where we can set up our picnic.

Once we have set up our picnic spot, I will share our exact location in the Comments Section for any late-comers. Please note that I will not be checking my phone every minute so if you are late in arriving you might need to track us down.
You can arrive and leave at any time, no need to be punctual or stay for the full event.
Look for the INFLATABLE UNICORN to find us! The Unicorn will be prominently on display - hopefully atop a picnic table if we can score one!
What to bring:
Here are some suggestions for things to bring:
Snack foods, fresh fruit, water, sunscreen, picnic blankets, parc-friendly games, BYOB.
The essence of a potluck is that everyone brings a little something in terms of food for everyone to share. If you have special dietary needs, it is recommended that you bring your own food and decide if you want to share it or not.
This is the first potluck picnic that I have organized, so I hope it goes well. I am open to suggestions and/or feedback.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If the weather turns rainy, the event will be CANCELLED. I will keep an eye on the weather leading up to the day of the event.
