About us

Welcome! We're a paddle boarding group for LGBTQ+ folks and friends in the Denver area. We keep the group unlisted on Meetup to protect member privacy, but all are welcome. No experience needed, just good vibes on the water. RSVP to events, invite friends or allies who want to join, and reach out with any questions!

When we paddle: Mostly weekend mornings, with weekday paddles mixed in through the summer. Check the events page for upcoming dates.

Where we meet: We paddle calm, beginner-friendly water at lakes and reservoirs around the Denver metro, and we rotate spots through the season. Each event listing has the exact location, parking details, and meeting time, so check the specific event before you head out.

Entry fees: Some of our spots are Colorado State Parks (free to enter if you have a Keep Colorado Wild pass), and others charge a per-vehicle fee. We'll note the entry cost in each event listing, and coming in pairs or small groups is an easy way to split it.

Good to know: A life jacket is required on the water and rangers do check, adults included, so bring one to every paddle. Front Range parking also fills up fast on summer weekends, so we start early to beat the crowds and the wind. Always check the event for the arrival time and get there on time so you don't miss the group. Don't have a board? Many of our spots have on-site rentals, and we'll note it in the event details when they do.

Make sure to "join" events so you get updates and reminders, and keep notifications on so you hear about new dates as they're scheduled.
