LGBTQ+ New to Denver

Welcome to LGBTQ+ New to Denver! 🌈

This group is for fellow queers in the Mile High City who are looking to make new friends, build community, and feel at home in Denver.

The group is co hosted by Fawn (she/they), Rich (he/him), Any (she/her), and Sam (she/her). Together, we coordinate monthly meetups at LGBTQ+ owned or inclusive spaces, and we also explore other community events and activities around the city. Whether you are brand new to Denver or just ready to expand your circle, we are so glad you found us and look forward to meeting you.

LGBTQ+ New to Denver Group Policy

We are committed to creating a welcoming, respectful, and affirming space for all members, free from discrimination and prejudice. By joining this group, you agree to the following:

• Respect names and pronouns. The names and pronouns someone shares must be used. Misgendering is not tolerated.

• Use inclusive and respectful language. Hate speech or offensive comments related to race, gender, gender expression, age, disability, or other identities are not tolerated.

If you witness or experience harassment or discrimination at any meetup, please report it to a group administrator. Members who violate these guidelines may be removed from the group. Following this policy helps ensure that everyone can feel safe, respected, and comfortable participating.

RSVP Expectations

By joining this group, you also agree to keep your RSVPs up to date. Please update your RSVP at least four hours before an event if your plans change. Three no shows will result in removal from the group so that we can keep events fair and accessible for everyone.
