LGBTQ+ New to Denver

Hey everyone! Welcome to the LGBTQ+ New to Denver Group! This group is for fellow queers here in the Mile High City and are either new or have been here some time and want to make new friends!

Fawn + Rich co-host this group and coordinate the meet ups. You’ll see at least one of us at every event. Fawn (she/her) moved here from Portland, OR in 2021 and loves coffee, cocktails, cats, and the sunshine. Rich (he/him) has lived in Denver for years and enjoys hikes and volunteering.

Every month we plan get togethers at LGBTQ+ owned or inclusive establishments as well as dabble in other community events & activities.

LGBTQ+ New to Denver Group Policy

We are committed to creating a welcoming and respectful space for all members - safe from discrimination and prejudice. By joining this group, you agree to:

• Respect and use correct pronouns. Pronouns and names disclosed must be used as misgendering is not tolerated.
• Use inclusive language. Hate speech and offensive comments about race, gender, gender expression, age, disability or other traits are not tolerated.

If you witness or experience any form of harassment or discrimination during a MeetUp, please report it to the group administrators. Those who violate these guidelines may be removed from the group.

Abiding by this policy will create a space for all of us to enjoy.
