What we’re about
This is YOUR group, as an Organizer (you can step down!) you're welcome to share/host anything vegan-friendly; please buy vegan options at events. Visiting a venue and fancy some possible company, make it a Meetup!
We've members from Worcester Park (WPveg), Kingston & Richmond (KRV), East (ESveg), North (VoNS) and Twickenham & North (TWandKTveg) Surrey groups, Yogific yoga & vegan fairs, and Croydon (CVS), Guildford (GVS) and University of Surrey (UniSveg) Veg Societies, amongst many others.
You can turn off unnecessary email notifications, check our Calendar/Help on Finding an event, even Google events. Do add links to your personal/professional social media.
I hope you enjoy the group, if you do please tell your friends, if you don't please tell me!
P.S. A BIG thank you to Drummond, for 'hosting' us under his spare group.
P.P.S. It's always worth joining waitlists (info), in case guests drop out.
N.B. Please DO NOT ANNOUNCE, whilst we plan this 2025 event; ignore the date, you can't create a Meetup without one!
Please RSVP/join waitlist (inc. child +1s) without obligation at this point; first come first served!
Join us for a vegan kids' (Satur)day in London, visiting its highest FREE viewing point Horizon 22 (map), before heading back down to earth for lunch nearby (Livi's guide to Spitalfields), or a picnic at no-kill Spitalfields City Farm (map|video).
Horizon's weekend group booking is max 14, but The Lookout (map) is right next door, so could have two groups; I'll investigate that's max booking.
Later, e.g. Weavers Fields Playground is a short(ish) walk away; if the weather's dry ;-)

See all- Woolwich: Weekly FoodCycle FREE LunchWoolwich Common Community Centre, London
They say there's no such thing as a free lunch, but they're wrong!
FoodCycle's lovely volunteers use unwanted food to produce three course, meat-free recipe (tell them you're vegan) community meals across England, that are free to all.
FoodCycle Woolwich (map|video) is every Friday (with rare exception; I'm notified by text), at Woolwich Common Community Centre's accessible main hall.
I sometimes help the Hosting team, and have met a few other vegan volunteers, inc. chef and fellow SE18 Vegans member John, who has a vegan daughter like me :-)
P.S. You can bring food containers, in case of leftovers.

This is the only vegan only spot that I can find as a meeting point to have lunch at. I don't know this area that much, as I rarely ever cross the river but it's after a morning appointment I have there. Possibly go to other spots after this, some are vegetarian with vegan options.
12-12.45pm= Vegan Garden
12.45-1.05pm= Royal Observatory At 12.55pm, on any day of the week, the ball rises halfway up its mast. It then goes all the way to the top at 12.58pm. At 1pm exactly, the ball falls, providing a time signal to anyone who happens to be looking. It’s a fascinating reminder of the drive towards a standardised time system for Great Britain and then the world.
1.15-3pm= National Maritime Museum
3.15-5pm= Visit the Queen’s House to see the Armada portrait of Elizabeth I
5.15-5.30pm= Cutty Sark to walk by
5.45-7.30pm= Picnic BYOB Greenwich Park
