London Plant-Based Restaurant Week is a campaign by Plant Based Treaty, as a part of London Climate Action Week; in partnership with Meat Free Monday.

Look out for vegan-friendly venues offering:

• Discounts on all plant-based options, or a promotional deal
• A new plant-based dish, or an existing one, as a special
• No surcharge on plant-based milks

FoodCycle's lovely volunteers use unwanted food to produce three course, meat-free recipe (tell them you're vegan) community meals across England, that are free to all.

FoodCycle Woolwich (map|video) is every Friday (with rare exception; I'm notified by text), at Woolwich Common Community Centre's accessible main hall.

I sometimes help the Hosting team, and have met a few other vegan volunteers, inc. chef and fellow SE18 Vegans member John, who has a vegan daughter like me :-)
