Brian Meyer, MD is a Western-trained Internal Medicine physician, shamanic energy practitioner, and physician acupuncturist. He worked for 11 years in medicine before moving into the realm of alternative healing. He did his initial shamanic training with Alberto Villoldo of the Four Winds Society. He has been initiated into the lineage of the Q’ero shamans from the high Andes in Peru and has made pilgrimages to the Sacred Valley with them. He has continued the study of Andean energy practices with Joan Parisi-Wilcox. His shamanic practice focuses on clearing heavy energy and prior traumas that weigh people down and undertaking journeys that provide clients with guidance and clarity. He completed the Harvard International Structural Acupuncture Course for Physicians, and has practiced acupuncture in multiple settings, including a military hospital, community acupuncture, and integrative health clinics. He offers shamanic healing and acupuncture services in St Paul through his private practice – Deep Springs Health, LLC.
